Biography

Christopher Lovell is Group Chief Executive of Golley Slater Group, one of the UK’s largest independent Marketing Services Groups.

He was previously Managing Director of the UK company for Banks Hoggins O’Shea FCBi (2001-2003), responsible for running its direct marketing division; Group Managing Director of DraftWorldwide (1997-2000), a global marketing agency; Managing Director of Lovell Vass Boddey (1993-1997), a leader in the convergence of data analysis and brand building marketing solutions; Business Development Director of Aspen plc (1991-1993); Group Account Director of Brann Direct Marketing (1988-1991); Marketing Manager of Radio Rentals (1985-1988); Account Manager of McCann Erickson (1983-1985). From 1998-2000 he was Chairman of the Agencies Council of the Direct Marketing Association.

He is a tutor on the Leadership Trust course, a founding member of the Institute of Direct Marketing and a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Chris was elected as a Trustee of UNICEF UK in July 2003, and became joint Vice-Chair of UNICEF UK in 2007.
