Biography
Glyn leads the finance team at Channel 4, one of the UK’s most innovative and distinctive public service broadcasters.
Prior to joining Channel 4 in 2006, Glyn was Director of Financial Control at ITV plc where he was responsible for many aspects of financial integration following the merger of Carlton and Granada.
Glyn also supported the growth in Granada Content as Deputy Finance Director delivering revenue growth in the onscreen, online and international businesses prior to the merger.
Qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1993 with KPMG he worked mainly in London but was also seconded to the Los Angeles office in 1996 working across a range of media clients. In 2000 he received a MBA and recently completed the Senior Executive Programme at London Business School.
Through his role at Channel 4, he currently holds directorships at Digital UK and Box TV Limited. From 2005 to 2010 Glyn was Treasurer of Amnesty International UK.
Glyn lives in London and is married with two children. He was elected to the Board of Trustees in July 2011.
