UNICEF UK assesses schools in person to confirm schools' self-evaluation of the extent to which they are rights-respecting.

Assessments are carried out by either UNICEF UK Education Officers or external assessors who have been trained and accredited by UNICEF UK. These external assessors all have extensive experience working in UK schools.

Level 1 assessment visits

Schools with fewer than 100 pupils
Cost: £250

One assessor for a half-day assessment plus a short written report. Travel costs are included.

Schools with more than 100 pupils
Cost: £400

Two assessors for a half-day assessment plus a short written report. Travel costs are included.

Level 2 assessment visits

Schools with fewer than 100 pupils
Cost: £400

One / two assessors for half-day assessment plus a written report and external moderation. Travel costs are included.

Schools with more than 100 pupils
Cost: £600

Two assessors for half-day assessment plus a written report and external moderation. Travel costs are included.
