This comprehensive package provides tailored support from UNICEF UK education officers to work jointly with school leaders from starting the award until their school becomes fully rights-respecting and achieves the Rights Respecting Schools Award Level 2.
UNICEF UK will provide:
- Up to 5 days (or 7 days in larger schools) of support for school leaders including initially evaluating RRSA audits and action plans, setting up steering groups and working with focus groups, supporting the development of charters
- tailored whole-school or departmental professional development
- pre-assessment visits
- level 1 and 2 assessments
- further support for school leaders including embedding the CRC across the curriculum, rights-focussed curriculum development and the global aspects of the CRC
- email and telephone support
- access to the RRSA Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) website
- discounted costs for regional training
