From bake sales to quiz nights, job swaps to dress-down days, auctions to awards nights - fundraising at work for UNICEF is hugely fun and rewarding. It's also a great way to enhance your working relationships and encourage team building.
Any support, no matter how big or small, can make a real difference to children’s lives. Your donation could help fund:
£10 could send 10 children back-to-school for the new term with a UNICEF bag containing pencils, pens, exercise books, eraser, coloured pencils, pencil case and a geometry set.
£95 could buy enough water kits for 10 families which enables the families caught up in emergencies or natural disasters to collect, store and even purify water.
£130 could help protect 1,000 children from Polio, a highly contagious viral infection.
£210 could buy 50 mosquito nets, to protect fifty families from malaria. Malaria kills one African child every 30 seconds.
£680 could buy a rainwater-harvesting system for a school. This rainwater-harvesting system will provide safe, clean water for all the children in a school to drink.
£925 could buy a large versatile tent that can be used for a temporary school or health centre, which will help children who have survived a natural disaster, war or displacement to continue their education.
Or, if you're feeling especially generous...
£19,465 could buy a four-wheel-drive vehicle to be used by UNICEF field staff to reach vulnerable children and families.
