1.Choose an idea and a date

Decide what event to do and when you want to do it.  If you are stuck for ideas you can read about what our supporters have been up to or take a look at our step by step guides to help you plan your event.

We would love it if you could tell us what event you are doing and when so that we can provide you with the best possible support. Fill in our event form and we will get back to you.

If you would like some materials for your event, such as balloons, banners and leaflets just complete our materials order form and email it back to us at helpdesk@unicef.org.uk

Tell everyone
Tell everyone what you are planning, when it is, what time and how they can donate money. Here are some ways you can tell everyone. 

Planning
The planning and preparation of any event is key. From baking cakes to cycling the world, all events need to be carefully thought about in advance to ensure that they are safe, fun and successful. Please read our legal guidelines when planning your event. 

On the day
In the lead up to your event, make a checklist to ensure that you have got everything you need.  This will mean that you will be as prepared as possible for your fundraising event. Depending on your event it might be useful to have a plan for the day the most important things to remember is to stay safe and have fun!

Sending in your money
It is really important that once your event is over you send in your money, this is the most important bit of your fundraising! Download our form.
