An introduction by Chris and Tammy Lowe

It's been a very busy year so far for the Bedford Group. In response to the tragic events in Haiti the group raised over £2,500 for the Haiti Earthquake Children’s Appeal during January and February. Events included cake sales, sponsored walks, a collection outside Lidls supermarket and a fantastic day of events at Napier Primary School.

The group's next event was a fundraising gig to celebrate their 2nd birthday, which also coincided with the Put it Right weekend. Thanks to local bands Fynnius Fogg and Margot & the Seeds, over £600 was raised during April's gig. Finally, to mark Soccer Aid 2010, local football sensation Mark Harlow treated Bedford town centre to some of his fantastic football freestyle tricks. His silky skills can be seen on the group's Facebook page.
