An introduction by Grace Henderson
The inaugural meeting of the Dundee and District Branch of UNICEF was held in 1972 and Joyce Wood, one of our present members, took the job of Secretary. Today we have ten members in our group, including a representative from the local Soroptimist branch.
Over the years we have raised money by holding coffee mornings, garden fetes, plant sales, bridge afternoons, concerts, music recitals, pub quizzes, fashion shows of clothes through the ages, and candle, Tupperware and Body Shop parties. New members are always welcome.
