The North Wales Gogledd Cymru UNICEF Group
The North Wales Gogledd Cymru Group is a new group founded by Gareth Whitley in April 2010. The group welcomes new members and supporters from all over Wales but primarily from the North Wales coast and is currently based in Colwyn Bay.
The group is steadily increasing in size and has large aspirations for the year ahead. We are already planning numerous events and activities for the summer including helping an expedition to Mount Everest in aid of Nepal. We would love to hear from people that can bring practical and creative support in various areas as well as people that have an interest or experience in the outdoors to add to our already enthusiastic and heavily motivated team!
The Cardiff UNICEF Group - an introduction by Sarah and Adair Cameron
The UNICEF Cardiff Group was set up in June 2010 after we were inspired by the generosity and compassion of the local people while honeymooning in Kenya. We decided to find a way to fundraise to make a difference to the lives of children across the world.
If you are interested in joining the group or getting involved with events, please visit our website to get in touch.
If you would like more information about any of the groups in Wales or would like to set up your own, please email groups@unicef.org.uk or phone 020 7375 6110. New members are always welcome.
