Interested in being involved with UNICEF On Campus but there is no society at your university? Why not set up your own…
Why set up a society?
- Fundraise and campaign to make a difference to the lives of children all over the world
- Meet new, like-minded people at your university
- Enhance your CV
- Receive regular communications about UNICEF's work and current campaigns
- Network with society members from other universities
- Receive support from experienced UNICEF fundraising and campaigning staff, including a dedicated On Campus Coordinator
- Attend events and training days
- Most importantly – have lots of fun!
Step-by-step guide to setting up your society
Register your society with your Student Union.
Recruit fellow enthusiastic and like-minded volunteers to join your society. Advertise via Facebook, Twitter or ask for a slot on your university radio station calling for new members.
Fill out a Contact Sheet and Memorandum of Understanding (see Related Documents box on the right hand side of this page) and return to us at UNICEF On Campus, 30a Great Sutton Street, London, EC1V 0DU. Please note that societies must fill out these forms at the start of each academic year in order to register their society for the next year.
Your On Campus Welcome Pack will be sent out to you including all you need to get your society up and running, including your On Campus Handbook, fundraising materials and UNICEF t-shirts.
