Brighton Marathon, Sunday 15 April 2012

Following a second successful year, the Brighton Marathon has well and truly put the vibrant seaside town on the running map.

The 26.2 mile route winds around the city and along the coast, taking in glorious views. It is generally fast and reasonably flat.

In return for a UNICEF charity place, we ask for a £40 registration fee when you sign up and ask you to pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship amount of £600 for our work with children. Don’t let this put you off – we’ll support you with your fundraising and help you raise the target with ease!

If you have any questions, email us or call 0844 801 2414.

Why your support matters

Every child has the right to a childhood free from exploitation, violence and abuse. Yet millions of children around the world are having their basic rights denied. This is wrong.

Your fundraising efforts will support our work promoting the rights of vulnerable children around the world, ensuring that we continue to help protect their right to an education, to be healthy, to be heard, to be treated fairly and to a childhood free from adult responsibilities.

By being a part of Team UNICEF, you will be helping us ensure more children get the best possible start in life.

Do you have your own place and want to fundraise for UNICEF?

If you have already secured your own place in the Brighton Marathon we would love you to run for Team UNICEF. Please email marathon@unicef.org.uk once your place has been confirmed, giving your full postal address and telephone number, to request an ‘Own Place’ Brighton Marathon pack.
