Fundraising for socialites:

• Organise a pub quiz
• Put on a fashion show in your local community hall or school
• Host a wine tasting evening
• A coffee morning – the age old favourite
• Raise extra funds at any event by holding a raffle or an auction of promises

Fundraising for the sporty:

• A five-a-side football tournament with your local club
• A sponsored spinathon (on cycling machines in a gym) are becoming a fundraising favourite
• Walk, run or cycle the distance to the country that inspired you to get involved
