UNICEF is working together with churches across the UK who share our vision for a world where children's rights are protected and upheld. There are several ways you too can get involved in fundraising as a church and helping raise awareness of the vital issues we work on.
In 2010/2011, the Jar of Grace appeal will be supporting UNICEF's work with children facing the devastating consequences of climate change in Guyana, South America. At its simplest, Jar of Grace asks that every time you share Grace before a meal, you drop your spare coins into a jar and take a moment to remember the focus of the campaign.
It need not stop there however, and UNICEF encourages churches to be as creative as they can. Resources are also available for youth groups, Sunday school sessions and small groups to help you raise awareness and raise funds for the campaign.

Hold your own event
You can be as inspired and creative as you like in raising funds for UNICEF’s work helping vulnerable children around the world. As an individual church-goer or as a whole congregation you could:
- Hold a bake sale at the end of a service or during a weekly youth group
- Get together all the brain boxes and hold the ultimate quiz night
- Do anything from having a dinner party to cycling around your local area to hosting a raffle
