Inner Wheel has been a long-term supporter of UNICEF and we are very grateful for their contributions over the years. This support has not only taken the form of raising vital funds for our work worldwide, but also in spreading the word about the rights of children and UNICEF’s projects worldwide.
From 2006-2009, International Inner Wheel supported UNICEF’s Girls Education programmes.
Inner Wheel clubs here in the UK, meanwhile, have fundraised for our Unite for Children, Unite against AIDS campaign, which has a particular focus on the prevention of mother to child transmission, (PMTCT).
Inner Wheel clubs in the UK have also generously helped UNICEF during emergencies, including the Haiti earthquake and Pakistan floods in 2010. We are very grateful for their continued support.
