Soroptimist International, a worldwide organisation for women in management and the professions, is a global voice for women. Soroptimists seek to raise awareness, advocate for change and take action on global issues affecting us all.

Since 2008, Soroptimsts have been supporting our UNITE for Children, UNITE against AIDS campaign, which strives for real and lasting change to protect the rights of children affected by HIV. They have raised over £30,000 for the appeal which is an incredible response.

World AIDS Day fundraising activity

We would like clubs all over the country to join together and undertake a fundraising activity around World AIDS Day on 1 December.  You could incorporate the activity into your normal evening meeting. If you are feeling more adventurous, why not organise a separate event? Get in touch for more ideas and advice.

Next steps

To spread the word and help your fundraising we have resources such as fundraising packs, information sheets and posters. To order these materials please contact our Helpdesk stating that you are supporting the Soroptimist International HIV Prevention Appeal. Further information is also available at www.soroptimist-ukpac.org and from your UNICEF/UKPAC liaison Jane Hastings.
