IKEA has launched its latest soft toy fundraising campaign in aid of children's education projects around the world.

For every soft toy, children’s book or children's meal bought between now and 23 December, IKEA will donate 1 euro to education initiatives supported by UNICEF and Save the Children.

We've been working with IKEA since 2003. Globally, they've raised over 35 million euros, helping improve the lives of more than eight million children in 45 countries.

This latest campaign aims to raise over 12 million euros for projects ranging from reading classes in Albania to school toilet building in Tajikistan.

"IKEA customers and co-workers who support the soft toy campaign have helped us to provide a quality education to children who are often the most disadvantaged in society", said Julie Weston, Executive Director of Fundraising at UNICEF UK.

"We know that no other investment makes such a lasting difference as the education of children."
