England captain Robbie Williams will be joined by his Take That band mate Mark Owen on 27 May as they attempt to reclaim the Soccer Aid title from the Rest of the World.
But they’ll be up against midfield general Roy Keane who adds to an already impressive line up that includes Edwin van der Sar, Jaap Stam and Ruud van Nistelrooy. With four Champions League and 15 Premier League winners medals between them it’s a squad with serious experience.
Meanwhile, England will be hoping that Harry Potter star Jason Isaacs can bring a bit of magic to the park and that comedians Paddy McGuiness and John Bishop don’t bring a smile to the faces of the Rest of the World’s fans. After his gruelling 295 mile triathlon for Sport Relief John Bishop certainly won’t be short of fitness and Jason Isaacs has already made his intentions clear:
"It's such a privilege to be asked to help UNICEF in any way. My best hope is to take a couple of them out of the game before I'm stretchered off myself. It's for a great cause so how wrong can that be?"
