In November 2010, 30 UNICEF fundraisers took part in the challenge of a lifetime, the Trek for the Children of Morocco: the Sahara Challenge. Over the course of ten days, the participants trekked over 90 kilometres, taking in scenery such as vast sand dunes and rocky plateaus. The trekkers came from a variety of backgrounds and ranged in age from early 20s to mid-60s. So far they have raised over £80k for the children of Morocco, a fantastic achievement.
