Since the disputed election in November 2010, political violence in Côte d'Ivoire has caused hundreds of thousands of people to flee their homes - mainly to neighbouring Liberia - the majority of whom are women and children. UNICEF has been working in the region delivering vital health, education and water and sanitation programmes.
