Right now, refugee children are alone and exposed to danger, while their family members wait desperately for them in the UK. The Government can and must change this, by urgently reuniting children with their families.
Write to your MP
In the coming months, we must remind our MPs of our commitments to protecting refugee children and reuniting them with their families. Get involved by calling on your local MP to champion Unicef UK’s family reunion campaign:
1. Write a personal letter to your local MP calling on them to make sure Britain shows itself to still be a force for good in the world. Ask them to champion Unicef UK’s Family Reunion campaign in Parliament.
a. Ask your friends, family and neighbours to add their signature to your letter, to demonstrate a strong constituency of support for the campaign.
b. Include a photo of your family to remind your MP that at its core this campaign is about more than rules or politics, it’s about children being with their family.
