• Icelandic singer, songwriter, music producer and actress Björk was moved by the devastation of the 2004 tsunami to support UNICEF’s emergency response. She released an album of remixes of her track 'Army of Me' and donated all the album proceeds to UNICEF’s global emergency work.

Björk later joined UNICEF on a trip to Banda Aceh, during this trip she saw the extent of the devastation and how communities are working hard to rebuild themselves, often from nothing.

Since this time Bjork has continued to support UNICEF's work and campaigns.
