In October 2010, Unicef and Kantar launched the Brighter Futures partnership to help vulnerable children have a better life and allow them to fulfil their true potential. The partnership committed to raise $1 million by 2014 to support projects in Bangladesh, Bolivia and Malawi.  Incredibly, staff hit the $1 million target two years early, and have now raised over $2 million, enabling UNICEF to help more than 80,000 children.

Kantar is aiming to raise another significant amount for Unicef between 2015 – 2018 to maintain the current programmes and contribute towards Unicef’s vaccination programme in Mauritania.

Kantar launched the partnership during Universal Children’s Day, where employees worldwide sold Brighter Futures wristbands in the offices.  Since then, Kantar staff  have undertaken a host of fundraising activities such as second-hand markets, auctions of promises, team building activities, and sportive challenges such as climbing Kilimanjaro, cycling the Andes to Amazon, trekking the Himalayas, and this year, staff will be conquering the Transylvanian Alps in Romania!

Kantar is a proud partner of Unicef.  Together, the partnership is helping to build a safer world for children. If you would like to make a donation to the Kantar Brighter Futures programme, please go to www.kantarbrighterfutures.com.
