Soccer Aid 2012: Recap
On 27 May, England took on the Rest of the World in a thrilling match that helped save children’s lives. Two teams of celebrities and football legends, captained by Robbie Williams and Michael Sheen, went head to head at Old Trafford, Manchester for a chance to lift the Soccer Aid trophy.
We raised over £4.9 million for the world’s children as a result of Soccer Aid 2012. A huge thank you to all of you at home and to the UK Government for matching all donations pound for pound.
