How will my eGreeting appear to the recipient'?

What are eGreetings?

eGreetings are the fun, new way to send your greeting messages quickly and with little effort.
An eGreeting can contain an illustration, photograph or animation, be accompanied by music and a personal message, which is sent directly to the recipient's email address. When they open the email, the card appears right in front of their eyes!
Also, a single eGreeting can be sent to multiple email addresses.

Why don't you have designs for more occasions?

We are continually updating the number of card designs we have on offer. We also welcome any suggestion for occasions you would like us to cover. If you would like to email us your suggestion contact us

Why send a UNICEF eGreeting?

Sending an eGreeting is a simple way to feel closer to those you care about and to let them know you're thinking of them. Send an eGreeting to mark a special occasion, to say good luck, thank you, I'm sorry, I miss you or I love you. Use them to instantly express friendship and love; convey congratulations; offer sympathy and comfort; celebrate anniversaries, holidays and birthdays.

Whatever the reason, each time you choose to send an eGreeting from UNICEF, you're also choosing to help make the world a better place for children. Let your friends, family and contacts know you care - about them and about improving the lives of children around the world.

Who can I send them to?

eGreetings can be sent to anyone with a valid email address. Today, most email systems can display enhanced text and graphics. However, please be aware that some office email systems (such as Outlook) have security settings which could block the use of the animated cards.

How much will I pay for eGreetings?

Please refer to our pricing information (link here please). Occasionally, we may offer special prices for a short restricted period - these will be notified in our shopping pages or via email bulletins together with key dates of availability.

How can I contact UNICEF eGreetings if there is a problem?

If you have problems with receiving your chosen eGreeting or if you are having problems with the website then please contact us.

Why didn't my friend receive the eGreeting I sent to his email address?

This may be due to many technical reasons beyond our control. We notice that most of the time this is due to an incorrect email address (did you type the right one?). Our systems are checked regularly for technical problems and we make sure that e-mail addresses you enter are in the correct formats.

Why can't my friend open his eGreeting?

Even if your friend is blocked from viewing the animation on a flash card, he will still receive an HTML alternative. Only in very exceptional circumstances, our server may have to momentarily go offline for technical maintenance. If your friend still cannot access his card on the second attempt, please ask him to send an email to our technical support team.

Can I send the same eGreeting with the same message to more than one person?

Yes, you can send the same card to up to ten people. If you want to send an eGreeting to 10 or more people, you can register for Free to become an UNICEF eGreeting Member. Once you are a registered user, access the Group Mailing feature in your Organiser.

How many contacts can I keep in my address book?

This is unlimited! We have plenty of room for you to store all of your contacts.

Is this site secure?

Yes. The UNICEF eGreeting site is hosted on a secure server, so you can be sure all your personal data is protected using approved SSL encryption techniques.

How much of what I pay will go to UNICEF?

The total amount of your purchase, excluding the minimal credit card fee, will go directly to UNICEF.

Why can't I login to the site even though I have registered as a user?

Check that you are entering the UNICEF UK website (www.unicef.org.uk/shop) as the one you registered on.
When you registered we sent you an email asking you to click on a link to activate your account. Please ensure you have completed this step.

We want to send eGreetings with our company logo on it to 1000+ clients is this possible?

Yes! Not only is it possible, it is also very simple. And as a corporate eGreeting member you can even pay by invoice (orders for 300 eGreetings or more only with confirmation of UK company details).
