Schools that register for Day for Change will receive a FREE UNICEF Day for Change education resource pack.

The pack has been especially prepared for teachers by UNICEF’s Education Team. It will enable pupils to contrast and compare their lives with those of children in Kenya, and learn about other aspects of life in Kenya - and UNICEF’s work here too.

The pack contains:

• A CD-ROM with case studies and activities, as well as fundraising tips and a guide for organising the day. It also contains PowerPoint presentations and copies of the photos for assemblies.
• Two large colour A2 posters depicting education in rural and urban settings in Kenya.
• Six photo cards for use and display, illustrating real life stories of children in Kenya in different schools, and the issues affecting them. They also show how UNICEF supports education in Kenya.
• An A3 awareness poster to advertise your Day for Change.
