Your donation can help protect more children like Nha from deadly disease.
We live in a world where children's lives are in danger from illnesses that are easy to treat, or prevent with a vaccine. With your help, Unicef will continue fighting disease until every child is safe.
In Vietnam, little Nha (pictured) has just been vaccinated against measles, a disease that kills more than 145,700 children worldwide every year. Those who survive are often left with long-term disabilities such as blindness, deafness or brain damage. Last year, in humanitarian emergencies alone, Unicef vaccinated nearly 16 million children against the deadly measles virus.
Measles, polio, tetanus, tuberculosis, diptheria and whooping cough are all easily and cheaply preventable through vaccination.
£12 could provide a cool-box carrier that will help a health worker get vaccines to the children who need them.
Donate today and support Unicef's life-saving work to protect millions of children from disease through immunisation.
Help us reach our goal of putting an end to preventable disease and the tragic deaths of children. By supporting Unicef, you can protect a child in danger now - and you can make a safer world for children tomorrow.
Funds raised for this appeal will help to protect children against preventable diseases. If the funds raised exceed Unicef's funding requirements for this appeal the money will go to Unicef UK's general fund. If you set up a monthly donation, for the first 12 months your gift will help to protect children from preventable diseases, after that your donation will go to wherever the need is greatest.
