Right now, children are in danger in Madagascar. Please donate and help save children’s lives.
A deadly typhoon has hit Madagascar, with wind speeds close to 200mph. More than 500 people are reported dead, more than 3000 are injured and close to 1,500 are missing. Thousands of helpless children are terrified and in danger.
When an emergency happens, it's a race against the clock to reach the children who need our help. Sadly in emergencies like typhoons, it's children who are amongst the most vulnerable, so it's important we get there fast.
Unicef is on the ground, assessing the needs of and reaching out to the children and their families who have been affected by the typhoon. We will work with humanitarian partners to provide health care, life-saving food, water and sanitation supplies, education and protection from abuse and exploitation. But we need your help.
A donation of £29 could help us provide an emergency water and hygiene kit for families and children who have lost everything in the Typhoon.
Please donate today and help us reach every child in Madagascar who needs us.
Funds raised for this appeal will support children affected by the typhoon in Madagascar. If the funds raised exceed Unicef's funding requirements for this appeal the money will go to Unicef UK's Children's Emergency Fund.
