The root cause is a lack of education and abject poverty.

During the UK's Presidency of the G8 - the richest countries of the world - you must ensure that they deliver on the commitment to spend 0.7% of national income on aid.

The world's richest countries must help the world's poorest now.

Don't leave it until these children have grown up. By then it will be too late.
