I am Paul (on the left) with my friend Mike. At the age of 40 I had a minor mid-life crisis, I wanted my youth again. What better than to buy a large motorcycle, Mike quickly followed suit.
Neither of us having riden a bike for over twenty years we did the only sensible thing and planned a trip around Europe.
We decided that our project should include three essential ingredients.
Motorcycles, Pilgrimage and fund raising for a cause closest to our hearts.
We intend to travel through fourteen countries in a little over two weeks visiting a place of pilgrimage in each country. We will ride through England,
the Nederlands, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Boznia-Herzogovnia, Italy, France, Andorra, Spain and Portugal.
A total of 5420 miles, approximately 350 miles a day.
We will camp en-route and probably survive off Pot noodles (real hardship)
