Manchester United stars raise over £65,000 for world's children

Sir Alex Ferguson, Ryan Giggs, Rio Ferdinand, Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo and Dimitar Berbatov were among the Manchester United players, staff and partners to turn out in style tonight for the seventh annual prestigious United for UNICEF Gala Dinner, in aid of the club's international charity partner UNICEF.

Tonight’s event had a ‘Champions of Youth’ theme, recognising the important role of young people in the clubs on-field success, whilst also highlighting Manchester United’s commitment, through the nine year ‘United for UNICEF’ partnership, to supporting the rights and needs of children and young people everywhere, ensuring that that they survive, thrive and fulfil their full potential.
