One lucky child will win the chance to light one of London’s most spectacular Christmas decorations this year.

On Wednesday 25 November 2009, a stunning five-metre wide Swarovski Crystal Snowflake will be illuminated over the streets of Knightsbridge. To celebrate, Swarovski and UNICEF are holding a festive evening at the Mandarin Oriental hotel. The event will be attended by UNICEF UK Ambassador Claudia Schiffer and will include performances by the English National Ballet and a fundraising auction by world famous auctioneers, Sotheby’s. All funds raised from the event will go towards helping UNICEF provide clean water to children all over the world.
