An ongoing Orange text donation appeal, launched in the first week of the disaster, has so far raised over £126,470 to support UNICEF’s efforts to bring relief to those affected in South Asia.
UNICEF is Orange’s global charity partner, and Orange customers in the UK can continue to make a donation of £2.50 by texting the word “DONATE” to 864233 (which spells UNICEF in alpha-numerics). The full amount charged for each text message will be donated to UNICEF, with no VAT or operator contributions deducted.
