Change for Good opens school in Nigeria

On the eve of the most significant anniversary for children worldwide, a new 'state of the art' primary school has opened in Nigeria thanks to the generosity of British Airways' passengers through the Change for Good programme. More than 3,500 children will enjoy their right to an education with the opening of the Science Primary School in Kuje on Monday 18 November, following a half a million pound donation.

The rebuilding of the school has been almost entirely funded through Change for Good. The programme, which was set up in 1994 to collect spare foreign currency from passengers travelling on British Airways flights, has raised nearly £15 million for UNICEF's work to support some of the world's most vulnerable children.
