Day for Change 2010 took place on the 5 February 2010. Over 1,500 schools around the country took part right over the school year and so far the appeal has raised nearly £300,000. All the amazing hard work that schools put in will make an enormous difference to the children of Haiti and Mozambique.

You can see what schools got up to in the Day for Change 2010 photo gallery. If your school took part and have some great images you would like to share in our gallery, email them to dayforchange@unicef.org.uk, ensuring that parental permission has been obtained for them.

Schools can now register to take part in Day for Change 2011, this year focusing on Climate Change in Guyana, South America, where the lives of children are being seriously affected. You can hold your Day for Change at any point during the 2010/2011 academic year and help us Put it Right for children in Guyana.

What is Day for Change?

For more than 20 years, schools across the UK have held an annual Day for Change, learning about and raising money for children around the world. In exchange for making a change for that day, such as, wearing fancy dress, putting on a talent show or making your way to school differently, parents, children and teachers make a donation to support and protect children in Guyana.
