The world-famous London Marathon, newly sponsored by Virgin in 2010, takes you past iconic London landmarks including the Tower of London and the Houses of Parliament, finishing at Buckingham Palace. The overwhelming support from the crowds lining the route is sure to keep you going throughout the 26.2 miles.
If you have secured your own ballot place in this years event we would love to welcome you to Team UNICEF for the 2010 London Marathon. Running the London Marathon is an amazing feat in itself, and by running for UNICEF you will also be raising money to help orphans and vulnerable children affected by HIV and AIDS to realise their rights to be healthy, be educated and to be a child, making the achievement all the more worthwhile. Please email marathon@unicef.org.uk to receive a running pack and fundraising support, as well as a personalised UNICEF running vest.
UNICEF’s Golden Bond application process for 2010 is now closed.
