Children's Emergency Fund Appeal

In Niger, West Africa, crop failure and drought together with big increases of the prices of many stable foods, has meant that half the country's popultion face food shortages.

In Kyrgyzstan, people fleeing the fighting that has erupted from ethnic clashes are desperatley short of food and medical care for the injured.

And as drought grips the Horn of Africa, it is the children who are most vunerable and at risk.

Funds are urgently needed to provide life-saving supplies such as health kits, food and shelter to populations in need.

Haiti Earthquake Children's Appeal

On the evening of 12 January, a devastating earthquake registering 7.0 on the Richter scale rocked the Caribbean nation of Haiti. It was centered about 14 miles south-west of the capital city, Port-au-Prince, thousands of children were killed or injured.

Our supporters responded so generously to help those made vulnerable by the earthquake, but funds are still urgently needed to provide safe water, temporary shelter systems, essential medical supplies and other services to protect children’s rights. Find out more information here.

General Fundraising

Some events take longer to plan. However, the funds raised from such events can be used for children across the world to ensure that all children have access to health and education, and are protected from adverse circumstances.

For more information and ideas about how to get involved complete the event form, giving us as much detail as possible, and return it to the address at the bottom of the form. We will  send you a fundraising pack which gives you more ideas and also important information about legal matters that you should bear in mind.
