Teaching and learning about rights is an essential part of becoming a Rights Respecting School and resources provide great support for school staff to teach children and young people about children’s rights, the UN Convention on the Rights and global citizenship from a human rights perspective.
On this section of the website, you will find all the RRSA teaching resources we have created to help you teach about children’s rights in school. We also share examples of materials created by schools as well as useful links to external resources that can help teachers and children and young people deepen their understanding of human rights and global citizenship. You can also download the forms and guides you need for your Rights Respecting Journey, and find a number of materials in Welsh (Adnoddau cymraeg).
Unicef UK has developed a wide range of teaching resources to support teachers with educating children and young people about their rights and global citizenship.
