Soccer Aid for young people

Soccer Aid for young people

When things go wrong in the world – war, poverty, disease, or abuse – it’s often children who suffer the most. Yet, all over the world, young people are proving that they can be part of the solution, not just victims of the problem.

Here in the UK, young people can show their support for Soccer Aid through UNICEF UK Youth Voice. The Youth Voice website is packed full of fundraising ideas for children and young people – from a sponsored keepy-up or penalty shoot-out, to getting your school on the ball, or running your own five-a-side tournament. There are also exciting Soccer Aid competitions too. You can find out more about UNICEF’s work around the world and hear from the children your money could help.

UNICEF UK Youth Voice is a network of young people who support UNICEF’s work through fundraising, campaigning and speaking out. As 18-year-old Laura, from Northern Ireland, explains:

“UNICEF UK Youth Voice gives young people the opportunity to have their say about issues that affect young people all over the world. It doesn’t just work for children but actively with them to ensure that their voices are heard.”
