Do you want to get involved with UNICEF? Your support means we can reach out to children, every day, in more than 150 countries. There are lots of ways that you, and the children and young people you work with, can support children around the world, while also learning about and promoting children’s rights. Here are a few suggestions:
Promoting children's rights
- Become a Rights
Respecting
School - this nationwide award scheme promotes the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) and encourages schools to bring the values and principles set out in the Convention into their
ethos and curriculum
- Check out how our websites for children and young people, World Explorers and Tagd, can encourage pupils to find out more about children’s rights, become active citizens and campaign with UNICEF.
Fundraising
- Take part in our Day
for Change, where education and fundraising go hand in hand. This annual event focuses on a different country and development issue each year.
- Be inventive and raise money in a variety of different ways. You could plan a school concert or quiz in aid of UNICEF, or even a sponsored silence! Find out about more ideas
