UNICEF UK Youth Voice is a network of young people in the UK, aged 11-18, who are committed to children’s rights. By fundraising, campaigning, and telling it like it is, you can speak up for the world’s children, adding your voice to theirs.
Too often, children and young people are seen as part of the problem. Too often, it’s children and young people who suffer the most because of the world’s problems. Youth Voice exists to help you to become part of the solution. It’s time to change the world for children. In your words. In your way.
You have the right to have your say about decisions that affect you, and to have your opinions taken into account. Your voice matters. Youth Voice can help you to get heard by decision makers, the media and the rest of the world. We work together in the UK to defend children’s rights everywhere.
You have a right to information you can trust. You have a right to understand your rights, and how to use them. Through this site, we’ll bring you news and information about children’s rights, and show you the reality for children all over the world. By becoming a member of UNICEF UK Youth Voice, you can play a major role in the work of UNICEF, the world’s biggest children’s charity. You can help to campaign and lobby the government; raise money for children who desperately need our help; and spread the word about children’s rights.
