Through Youth Voice, young people can play a major role in the work of UNICEF UK, the world's biggest children's charity and actually do something.

You can change the world through campaigning. Demanding action from world leaders and decision makers to create a world fit for children.

Without money, UNICEF can't help the world's children. It's a charity, and relies entirely on donations - from governments, business and ordinary people like you. Run an event or get people to sponsor you to do something.

Tell us about what you're up to. Children and young people often get a bad press, help set the record straight...

Tell your friends and family what you have found out on this site and help promote children's rights across the globe. Word of mouth is a very powerful way of informing other people. If everybody shared their own knowledge and corrected people when they said things that were inaccurate, we would all be much better informed.

Join other groups/organisations who feel strongly about the same issues as you.Join a youth group or become a member of an organisation that encourages young people to have your say and become an active citizen. This may be possible in school or at your local youth group or you may want to become part of a national organisation.

Start a group up of your own with other young people who have similar interests.Maybe there isn’t a group you can join so why not start your own? This could be at school or college or at your local youth centre. Maybe there’s a teacher or youth worker to help or give you some advice on how to set up a group. Alternatively, you could simply together with some of your friends who are interested in doing something.
