On 12 May, an earthquake struck the Sichuan Province in China, killing tens of thousands of people and injuring thousands more. Buildings and schools collapsed, burying children under the rubble. It was the largest earthquake for more than twenty years.

UNICEF China is sending emergency supplies to China, including health kits, tents for people who’ve lost their homes, and water supplies. Over the next few weeks, many more supplies will be needed to fully respond to children’s needs.
