As a young person, there are lots of ways you can give your time to help UNICEF's work. You may want to raise money, support campaigns, become a Youth Advisor, or help to spread the word about young people's rights. You can find out how to help in this way in the 'Do Something' section of this site.
Once you're 18, you may want to get involved for a longer period of time. UNICEF UK offers volunteer placements, based in its London offices, for between three and six months. Some are full-time, others part-time. When these placements are available, they'll be advertised on the UNICEF UK website. If you're interested in a volunteer placement, you can sign up to receive an e-mail alert when there's a vacancy. You'll have to fill in an application form, and may be invited for an interview. These placements are very popular, so competition can be tough.
