Help Children Affected by Cyclones in Southern Africa

Home > Help Children Affected by Cyclones in Southern Africa

Thank you for supporting children affected by cyclones in Southern Africa. This appeal has now closed, but you can still help protect children in emergencies by donating to our Children’s Emergency Fund.

In 2019, Unicef mobilised life-saving supplies and services across Southern Africa to keep children and families affected by cyclones Idai and Kenneth safe. We also reached 24,000 households with water treatment chemicals in areas considered high risk of Cholera in Cabo Delgado.

Your gift will directly support children across the world who face conflict, natural disasters and other complex emergencies.

In an emergency, Unicef is on the ground providing life-saving supplies for children and their families. But we can’t do it without you.
