15 July 2022, London- The largest sustained decline in childhood vaccinations in approximately 30 years has been recorded in official data published today by WHO and UNICEF.

“We are deeply concerned by the largest sustained decline in childhood immunisation in nearly 30 years. The UK Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF UK) calls on the UK Government to prioritise health systems strengthening and invest in pandemic preparedness efforts to build strong and sustainable routine immunisation services that reach every child wherever they are and whatever the circumstances.”
