We’re making some important changes to make the Rights Respecting Schools programme more financially efficient and sustainable, so we can continue to positively impact the lives of many more children.
If you’re not already registered for the Rights Respecting Schools Award, but you’re interested in becoming an RRSA member, you can register here. If you have any questions, get in touch with [email protected].
Important information for schools already working with us
We are moving away from the model where schools pay separately for the registration, training and accreditation as they need it. Instead, from 1 February 2022, we are putting in place a membership model where we are asking every school to pay an annual subscription.
Membership provides all the benefits and support that schools need to succeed in one package, putting them in control of how and when they access support, as well as it helps them plan and budget for their Rights Respecting journey. You can learn more about what the membership includes and what are our costs from now on here.
We are not making any changes to the framework or outcomes of the RRSA.
All schools in England, Wales and Northern Ireland that are already registered for the Rights Respecting Schools Award should have received an email, letter and leaflet informing them about these changes and what they need to do to continue their Rights Respecting journey. If this applies to you and you haven’t received any communications or if you have any questions or concerns, please contact your Professional Adviser or [email protected].
If you’re a school already registered for the RRSA in Scotland or the Channel Islands, these changes don’t currently apply to you.
