What happens after your reaccreditation visit?

If you are successful, the Gold logo will be emailed to you, and you will receive a banner and certificate in the post. You can display these on your school website and documentation.

Being reaccredited at Gold: Rights Respecting is an outstanding achievement. Many schools choose to celebrate with a special assembly or event, inviting parents and the local press. Use our handy downloadable press release template to share your successes.

If you have developed useful resources for your Rights Respecting work, please share these with us so we can put them on our website and inspire other schools to sustain their Rights Respecting work. You can also share your photos and stories to feature on our website – find a case study template here. Feel free to contact your Professional Adviser or email rrsa@unicef.org.uk.

Your Award will be valid for a period of three years from reaccreditation. After this time, you will need to be reaccredited to show that you are continuing to sustain the Rights Respecting Schools Award at Gold. Take a look at some of our ideas to help keep your Rights Respecting work fresh here.
