I'm Nicole Becker, I am 19 years old, I am a militant environmental activist, Champion of Escazu Agreement and one of the founders of Youth for Climate Argentina, an environmental social group. My story It all started when I saw a video on Instagram of young people in Europe mobilizing for the climate and ecological crisis. It caught my attention and I was outraged that here, in Argentina, no one was talking about this, neither in my school, nor in the media and that there was no local expression of this movement either. I decided to turn that outrage into collective action, to better organize young people who are thinking the same thing and we had the magnificent idea of calling a mobilization two weeks after an international mobilization, which was on March 15. That was the beginning of everything. As a result, I changed my diet to a plant-based one, I started recycling, composting, also having my garden and I started going everywhere I could in my bicycle. \\\"As a generation we want to make a new normal, the environment is a human right and in the new normal it has to be recovered to ensure the future we want.\\\" My present The COVID-19 situation was strange because it changed our plans, above all it took away our greatest fighting tool: our mobilization in the street, which is what generates so much force.
