UNICEF UK owns various intellectual property rights in the programmes that it has developed, including the Child Friendly Cities & Communities programme. The Child Friendly Cities & Communities programme has been developed to ensure that ‘Child Friendly City/Community’ recognition is only given to those of our partners who have undergone the programme’s various checks and balances to ensure that their policies and practices are maintained to a high level to give adequate support to those children that need it. The ‘Child Friendly City/Community’ name, whether in word or logo form, or any of UNICEF’s intellectual property, may only be used with UNICEF UK’s written permission. UNICEF UK reserves the right to withdraw permission of the use of its intellectual property at any time, and may take action without further notice for any unauthorised use.
