Why support Soccer Aid for UNICEF?
UNICEF works alongside partners to help ensure that the world’s children are vaccinated, protected and educated.
In over 190 countries, our teams work tirelessly to help families ensure that their children have all they need to thrive from the moment they are born.
Created by Robbie Williams in 2006, Soccer Aid for UNICEF kicked off as the world’s biggest celebrity football match. Once a year, the nation’s favourite celebrities and legendary footballers come together to raise money to help families ensure they can give their children the best possible start in life.
Over the past 20 years, more than £121 million has been raised – all supporting our vital work helping millions of children around the world.
This year every £1 you donate to Soccer Aid for UNICEF – up to £6 million – will be doubled thanks to the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation. So, a kind donation of £50 could become £100.
Together, let’s team up to protect play for every child.
Help UNICEF protect play for every child
Join one big team at Soccer Aid for UNICEF, united by a goal to help protect play for children everywhere.
Every child has the right to play. But for millions of children around the world, conflict, disease, poverty, and disasters destroy their safe spaces to play.
We want every child to have the opportunity to go to school – learning and playing with their friends.
Through the funds raised through Soccer Aid for UNICEF help deliver vital programmes, including:
- Life-saving vaccines and healthcare in hard-to-reach communities
- Support for children displaced by conflict and disaster
- Safe spaces for children to play, learn and recover in emergencies
- Therapeutic food and crisis support for vulnerable families
And so much more to allow kids to simply be kids.
Your donation to Soccer Aid for UNICEF could help children around the world have happy, healthy, and play-filled childhoods.
Please give what you can and donate online now. Thank you.
